Harris Health is looking for an experienced Lead Medical Technologist to join our Chemistry Laboratory team

About the Position

The Lead Medical Technologist at Harris Health System will assist the supervisor with the review, organization, and maintenance of technical activities of the Laboratory. You will provide input into the development of policies and procedures for the department and participate in the development of new technical procedures. As the Lead Medical Technologist, you will also provide feedback on other personnel to the supervisor in assistance with evaluations. You will also ensure that laboratory personnel are keeping up to date with laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Lab Science or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science
  • MT, MLS, or MLT Certification by ASCP, NCA, ABB, or AMT
  • 5 years of Chemistry lab experience
