About the Position
The Lead Histology Technician at Harris Health will assist in the supervision of Histology Lab's performance. In the Histology Lab, you will be responsible for receiving anatomic pathology specimens and other routine technical procedures. You will procure, prepare, and stain tissue sections in addition to assisting the pathologist in making microscopic diagnoses. As the Lead Histology Tech, you will provide leadership and guidance to other Techs on shift with you by providing instructions and training as needed.
