About the Position
A Correctional Health or Forensic Licensed Vocational Nurse at Harris Health will provide patient care and education for patients at the Harris County Sheriff's Office under the direct supervision of registered nurse or other advanced practice providers. You will use the nursing process to ensure physical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs of your patients are met. As the LVN, you will be responsible for aiding in the determination of predictable and well-defined healthcare needs with predictable outcomes within a structured healthcare setting. You will also coordinate care between members of the patient's care team in order to optimize the patient's understanding of their condition and care requirements within your scope of practice.
