About the Position

The Chemical Dependency Counselor at Harris Health will be responsible for the assessment, development, and implementation of an intervention plan for individuals with chemical dependency. You will coordinate referrals to community resources and provide consultations to the treatment plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences
  • Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC)
  • 3 years of experience in counseling incarcerated persons preferred
  • 5 years of experience working as an LCDC
  • Knowledge of 12 Step Programs
  • Spanish speaking preferred
