Legacy Community Health is looking for an RCM Specialist to join our team in Houston
About the Position
The RCM Specialist at Legacy Community Health is responsible for timely and accurate billing and collections of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. You will need to understand third-party payment methods in order to prepare contractual adjustments corrects in addition to reviewing and interpreting medical records to determine validity of any payer denials. The RCM Specialist will also follow-up on submitted claims according to policy, research rejections and denials, document activity, and post adjustments within the billing system. Because of the nature of this position, you will need to be flexible in order to meet the needs of the department, providers, MSO, and patients.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of medical billing experience
- Experience with EMR system(s)
- 2 years of insurance billing and collections; denial management preferred
- EPIC Certification preferred
