The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Legacy Community Health administers care to children from birth through adolescence under the supervision of our physicians. In this role, you will be interacting frequently with family members and caregivers in order to accurately assess and treat the patient. You will work to diagnose illness, prescribe medication, and perform annual check-ups, so you will need thorough knowledge of well-child care and common acute illnesses and chronic conditions among pediatric patients. Strong observation skills are vital as pediatric patients are not always able to effectively communicate their needs.
