About the Position
Contributes to the development, implementation and maintenance of system-wide compliance programs, policies and procedures.
Mon - Fri: 8am - 5pm
Insurances: Life, medical, dental, short term and long term disability
Responsible for managing compliance reports
Assist in developing tools to monitor compliance activities/needs
Assist in medical record auditing and trend analysis in regards to coding/documentation
Assist in facilitating internal compliance reviews and/or monitoring of departmental compliance
Assist in fostering education/developing training of clinic and office personnel concerning all aspects of compliance
Promote communication and collaboration to facilitate compliance
Undergraduate degree or soon to receive undergraduate degree. Preference in healthcare administration or similar experience.
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of staff (including physicians)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Proficiency or adaptability to software systems (i.e. electronic medical record systems)
Prefer strong knowledge of medical terminology
Strong analytic abilities
