About the Position

Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of computer systems, applications, and networks throughout the organization, ensuring reliable performance and data integrity in local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and organization intranets. Acts as liaison between the company, vendors, and consultants. The position will be Hybrid.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Ongoing research and remaining up to date with new developments in the Health Information Technology (HIT) industry as it relates to new or existing practice services
• Education of HIT developments to pertinent levels of practice members
• Ongoing development of Interoperability objectives between OE and other information systems/stakeholders, up to and including HIE for comprehensive patient experience workflow as the goal.
• Attendance of pertinent conferences to learn about the HIT landscape and present opportunities to enhance current and new technology platforms o Present new HIT initiatives to the executive team and other teams as needed
• Educate necessary staff 
• Point person for all Interface work with OE and seeking new initiatives as well as pushing for additional opportunities for enhanced workflows and minimization of non-value-added workflows
• Collaborating with IT/Data Analytics teams closely to enhance all three areas
• Weekly meeting with Executive Director and CEO on updates and progress on New or existing Initiatives o Maintain attendance to medical home, leadership, and other pertinent meetings

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:  

• This position supervises technical support staff 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

• BA in Management Information Systems, BS in Computer Systems, or related field is required 

• Certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, PMP are a plus 

• 3+ years of experience in a manager role with a growing, high technology company 

• 3+ of experience with LAN and WAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems and protocols are required  

• 5+ years of hands-on expertise with information technology including implementation, security, system back up procedures, remote access 

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a spontaneous, fast paced, growth oriented environment. 

• Thorough knowledge of computer monitoring systems, vendor-supplied packaged programs, macros, utilities, and other highly technical programs 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal office environment. Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity is needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard. Ability to write simple correspondence. Occasional overtime may be required. Moderate stress level and moderate noise level.
