S:US is looking for an experienced Development & External Affairs Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications and Government Relations Team

About the Position

The Development & External Affairs Coordinator will be responsible for managing and entering all data in Raiser's Edge while providing administrative support to several teams, including: Marketing & Communications, Government Relations, and Volunteers. You will process all donor gifts and pledges that S:US receives and assist with fundraising and cultivation events. The Development & External Affairs Coordinator is also responsible for organizing and drafting correspondence, including acknowledgement letters, for various teams. You will work closely with Marketing & Communications to regularly update lists in Constant Contact and monitor social media donations in addition to producing fundraising-to-date and mailing lists from Raiser's Edge. In coordination with Government Relations, you will ensure that S:US remains up to date with existing and proposed city, state, and federal legislation that will impact the populations we serve.

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 / year

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Able to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 virus
  • 2 years of experience using Raiser's Edge
    • Proficiency in NXT
  • 3 years of non-profit experience with data administration, management, and reporting
  • Experience with building and maintaining donor and community relationships
  • Experience with data integrations between Raiser's Edge and donation processing or email marketing software, preferred
