S:US is looking for an experienced Licensed Therapist to join our OnTrackNY Program providing services to adolescents and young adults
About the Position
The Psychotherapist at S:US is responsible for providing independent assessments and interventions in accord with the client's treatment plan and needs at the clinic site, via Telehealth, or off-site in the community. Some of the most important duties of the Licensed Therapist is the creation and management of care plans as well as the evaluation of the current and future medical needs of the client. You will work alongside the multidisciplinary team in order to to best meet the needs of your caseload consisting of adolescents and young adults living with serious mental illness. Your clinical role will involve assessing clients for potential diagnoses and treatment needs, monitoring progress with treatment goals in order to ensure the effectiveness of prescribed interventions, and educating clients on mental illness, symptoms, and medications. The Psychotherapist also provides crisis intervention to participants in order to reduce symptoms and prevent admission to more restrictive care.
The OnTrackNY Program is a Coordinated Speciality Care treatment program serving adolescents and young adults who are within two years of experiencing psychosis. Our mission is to keep young people on track with their goals for school, work, and personal relationships. Equity, inclusion, rapid access, and self-determination are at the core of everything we do. Our staff receives expert training and technical assistance through the statewide OnTrackNY Initiative at the Center for Practice Innovations at Columbia Psychiatry and New York State Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene.
Salary: $61,500 - $67,600 / year
