S:US is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Adult Families Shelter on E 31st St
About the Position
The Registered Nurse at S:US provides care to residents at our adult families shelter in Manhattan by coordinating their ongoing treatment in the community. You will be responsible for ensuring this by meeting with staff; supervising LPNs, Patient Navigator, and Health Educator; and assisting the Psychiatric NP as needed. You will need to be able to administer medications and document the administration as required. The Registered Nurse also assists with diabetes medication and treatment. As the RN, you will coordinate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure proper care, nutrition, and treatment plans are followed.
About the Homeless Services
S:US is working hard to help prevent homelessness by operating homeless individuals and families, for people living with HIV/AIDS, for individuals with mental health challenges, and for families experiencing domestic violence. We also connect homeless people to medical centers to ensure primary medical care and adherence to treatment. Our Homeless Services include homeless prevention, shelters, outreach services, and transition services.
Salary: $80,000 - $82,000 / year
