S:US is looking for an experienced Senior Case Worker or Case Manager to assist at our St. Nicholas Ave shelter
About the Position
The Case Manager at S:US will be based at one of our Homeless Shelters in order to aid and monitor the residents in reaching their goals. You will conduct the intake process with new residents within 24 hours of their admission, including explaining the resident's rights and responsibilities as well as the grievance procedures. The Case Worker also regularly conduct psychosocial, vocational or educational, and housing assessments and documentation for the residents. As the Case Manager, you will conduct individual and group counseling, workshops, psych education, and workshops. At times, it may be needed for you to provide crisis intervention and address emergency situations. This role does also require some weekend and evening hours as assigned by the Program Director.

S:US is working hard to help prevent homelessness by operating homeless individuals and families, for people living with HIV/AIDS, for individuals with mental health challenges, and for families experiencing domestic violence. We also connect homeless people to medical centers to ensure primary medical care and adherence to treatment. Our Homeless Services include homeless prevention, shelters, outreach services, and transition services.
Salary: $53,344.85 - $54,102.48 / year
