The Harris Center for Mental Health & IDD is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor
About the Position
The Internal Auditor at The Harris Center will join the staff at our CEO's office in order to perform routine auditing work. This will include examining, investigating, and reviewing records, reports, financial statements, information systems, and management practices to ensure that the organization is in legal compliance with state statutes and internal regulations. You will prepare audit reports of your finding and outline discrepancies as well as recommended corrective actions. The Internal Auditor also serves as an advisor when it comes to the requirements, liabilities, and penalties of compliance and noncompliance. At times, you may also be required to assist in performing special reviews at the request of management.
