The Harris Center for Mental Health & IDD is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team!
About the Position
The IT Network Engineer at The Harris Center is responsible for the design, support, and maintenance of the data, video, and wireless network infrastructure. You must have hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls in a datacenter environment in order to successfully complete the duties of this role. You will perform implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network components in order to ensure their availability, reliability, and optimal performance. As the Network Engineer, you will also plan, schedule, and implement network maintenance, including firmware upgrades, hardware replacement, and configuration changes, outside of business hours in addition to performing difficult network troubleshooting. You will also assist our Security Team with the installation and administration of NAC, packet aggregation tools, and other security appliances as needed.
