About the Position
The Patient Access Representative is the first line of contact between a patient and Vail Health staff, so you will be vital in ensuring patient satisfaction. The Patient Access Rep assists with administrative duties, such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and coordinating other requests. When patients first arrive, you will assist with the check-in process through registration, questionnaires, insurance verification, and referrals. You will need to establish and maintain patient files, information, and records. Excellent communication skills are vital to effectively work with patients and other team members to assist patients in getting access to care.
